With Pope Leo XIV assuming his position, the legend of the University Soccer Coach Lou Holtz shared an important message for each Catholic worldwide.
Holtz said he has been “my life”, also serving as an altar. He urged people in the United States and around the world to be friendly to Pope Leo when his church leadership begins.
“I am an old man, I have been Catholic all my life. They taught me how the Pope would be selected. The white smoke, the black smoke, etc.,” Holtz began his message. “But you never know about the Pope, because it is not infallible. It is infallible when everything reaches religious decisions, and we are taught to respect and pray for him and listen to him.

“I hope this Pope is very, very good, but I know this: he is our Pope. We must defend it, we must encourage it, we must pray for him, and we must help him.”
Holtz continued arguing “too many people do not give church enough today,” and maybe that is because some do not believe in past papal decisions.
“The Church has financial obligations like anything else. Then, he likes the Pope or not, it is irrelevant. He is our Pope. You must respect him, pray for him and worry about him at the same time, accept the decisions he makes.
The media position Pope Leo XIV as a potential ‘counterweight’ for Trump
“It is important for us to support the Pope, regardless of whoever, whether we like it or not. Pray for him. Pray for the decisions they make. I have been blessed to know two potatoes, have visits with them. Let us ensure that we pray for the Pope, follow his blessings and teachings because they have guided us the right way for so many years.
“Good luck for you, and I promise you, I will pray for the Pope because I know that the Pope will also pray for me and pray for the elections he takes in the best interest of this country.”
Since Cardinal Robert Prevost was chosen as the first American Pope last week, many wanted to learn about the new church leader.

Louis Prevost, his conservative brother, retreated the accusations that Pope Leo would be a “awakened” successor of the late Pope Francis.
“It wasn’t, as, super political,” Prevosta on Piers Morgan said in “uncensored.” “He doesn’t stay, he is not right, look at the whole scene, take information from both sides and somehow finds a way to go through the middle and not stir too many feathers.”
However, Prevost went to the previous criticism of Pope Leo to the methods of President Donald Trump in the midst of the immigration crisis.
“It can be offended with the method in which they move people and comment that,” but nevertheless, “you still have to follow the rules of the law.”

Holtz is a firm supporter of Trump, who publishes similar videos of his praise for the 47th president.
Holtz trained for 33 years at the university with six different programs, especially Notre Dame, where he was 100-30 during his 11 years with the Fighting Irish.
