The former One Direction Louis Tomlinson’s member loses his late bandmate Liam Payne
As Brit Awards honored Liam with an emotional tribute during the ceremony on Saturday night, Louis expressed his gratitude to the organizers of the event.
Liam died at the age of 31 on October 16, 2024, after falling from a hotel balcony in Buenos Aires, Argentina.
After the British Tribute, Louis led to X (previously Twitter) and wrote: “Thank you @Brits. Beautiful tribute.”
“I always miss you, Brother X,” the singer wrote more.
In particular, the day also marks a year since Liam launched her simple Teardrops, which was also the last song she launched in her life.
During the prestigious ceremony, the awards paid tribute to Liam Payne with an emotional video assembly, with outstanding aspects of his career and personal life. The segment was established in the One Direction song Little things.
“We have so many incredible memories of Liam here in the British, so tonight we celebrate their legacy, we look back and remember the remarkable Liam Payne,” said host Jack Whitehall.
