Luke Hemsworth has revealed that he and his brothers Chris and Liam have talked about working together on screen, but casting the God of Thunder is no easy task.
talking to MY! News On Monday, March 30, Luke, 45, said the trio is willing to collaborate.
“I’d love to do something,” he said, adding that they’ve “talked about it a lot.” The sticking point, he joked, is his brother’s schedule.
“We need to hire Chris about two years in advance. He’s in incredible demand.”
It’s not an exaggeration.
Chris, 42, returns as Thor in Avengers: Judgment Daywhich will be released in theaters on December 18, and has recently participated in the thriller Crime 101 as well as two documentaries, Chris Hemsworth: a road trip to remember and Unlimited, in which he also acts as producer and subject.
Despite the scheduling challenges, Luke made it clear that all three brothers have the desire.
“We’d love to. If anyone wants to write something, please come see us.”
All three have carved out separate careers in Hollywood, making a joint project seem like an event waiting to happen rather than something already in motion.
Meanwhile, he admitted, they don’t always manage to keep up with each other’s work.
“The battle we face is for each of us to see the other’s things. We always say, ‘Have you seen that yet?’ ‘Oh no, I know. I’ll do it, man, I promise.'”
Luke is currently promoting Beasta mixed martial arts drama co-starring Daniel MacPherson and Russell Crowe, directed by Tyler Atkins, premiering April 10.
