Another rumor indicates that Apple is ready to launch a MacBook Pro with an OLED screen later in 2026.
Macrumors saw the Dealsite.co.kr (a Korean website), which states that Samsung Display will be the only supplier of these OLED screens for an Apple Macbook that will debut at the end of 2026.
We are told that Samsung’s OLED Gen 8.6 assembly lines can easily meet the demand that Apple will require for OLED panels in their MacBook Pros. And that Samsung’s investment in this production capacity allows properly attractive manufacturing cost when it comes to that important Macbook materials.
Obviously, we must be careful with any rumor, but this is not the first time we listen to the name of Samsung mentioned as the Creator of Macbook’s OLED screen.
In March 2025, the well -known apple filter Mark Gurman predicted that the great change for the Macbook Pro will not reach until the end of 2026, with an important redesign focused on a Samsung ‘Tandem’ Oled (two panels are crushed, so to speak, to allow a better brightness and energy efficiency), as well as make the laptop.
