He Malcolm in the middle Revival continues to collect steam on Disney+, with more new distribution members announced.
The four -episodes arc comes from the original creator of the Linwood Boomer show and will pick up Malcolm and the rest of the family about twenty years since the last time they appeared on our screens.
For not initiated, Malcolm in the middlewhich originally executed for seven seasons, 151 episodes, in Fox in the United States from 2000 to 2006, followed a Malcolm Children’s Prodigy (Frankie Muniz) and his family often dysfunctional, always loving and working class, including parents Lois (Jane Kaczmark) and Hal (Bryan Cranston). The new mini season sees “Malcolm and her daughter attracted to family chaos when Hal and Lois demand her presence for her 40th wedding anniversary.” It sounds like a perfect hook for a brief but sweet luck, return to the Malcolm universe, especially because the heart of the original show was the relationship of the titular character with the suffering hall of Cranston, so it will be interesting to see Muniz’s character on the reverse of that dynamic, with the fatherhood himself.
Who returns to Malcolm in the middle?
From the original cast, Frankie Muniz, Bryan Cranston and Jane Kaczmarek confirmed that they would return to their respective roles when the revival was announced, and Variety has now confirmed that the most familiar faces will join the cast with Christopher Masterson and Justin Berfield to rebuke their roles as the older brothers of Malcolm Francis and Reese.
However, the younger brothers of Malcolm, Dewey and Jamie, have been recast with Caleb Ellsworth-Clark and Anthony Typano assuming the roles. None of the replacements comes as a big surprise, with Dewey’s original star, Erik for Sullivan, stopped acting after the program conclusion, and Jamie, presented in the fourth season, was still a small child when the program ended.
Meanwhile, the Revival will present a fifth brother so that Malcolm Lidie with the confirmation that the post-series series, Lois and Hal finally gave birth to a daughter, Kelly, played in the new episodes of Vaughn Murrae. The additional casting news sees Keeley Karsten assume the role of Malcolm’s daughter, Leah, while Kiana Madeira will play her girlfriend, Tristan.
