A man was arrested in Lahore Kahna for allegedly trying to assault a 15 -year -old, police said Friday.
According to the police, the incident took place in the village of Sadho Ki, where the child had gone to cut fodder in the field. The suspect named Heera, supposedly attracted the child and tried to assault him.
During the incident, the child gave an alarm. According to reports, the suspect responded by threatening to kill him and physically assault him.
Police said the child suffered wounds on his left arm as a result of the fight.
The Kahna police carried out a quick operation and arrested the suspect from the town.
A case has been registered against him and has been delivered to the gender cell for greater investigation.
The Casa de la Estación (Sho) Kahna Police Station officer said the matter is being investigated with full seriousness. “The suspect will be treated according to the; AW. Those involved in any form of exploitation and child abuse will face a strict action,” he said.
Police officials urged the publication to remain attentive and immediately report any suspicious activity, especially in relation to the safety of children.
“There would be no indulgence for people invoked in such crimes,” added the sho.
The investigation is currently in progress, and other legal procedures will be based on the evidence collected by the gender cell.
