Abbottabad:
An additional judge of sessions at Abbottabad condemned the main defendant in a case of high profile to life imprisonment, after the fatal stabbing of a local resident in the Jhangi area.
The verdict occurred after extensive legal arguments, with the Prosecutor’s Office led by an outstanding lawyer of the Supreme Court Atif Ali Jadoon.
According to the details of the case, the incident occurred on September 13, 2022, when the defendant, Faizan, along with his brothers Nauman and Arsalan, attacked Khan when he returned home. During the altercation, Faizan fatally stabbed Khan several times, which resulted in his death in the scene due to excessive bleeding.
In the same attack, Khan’s sister and her nephew, Abu Bakar, were also injured after being attacked with a knife. Both victims were transferred to a hospital and survived after receiving timely medical treatment.
In an attempt to deceive the police, they Faizan, according to reports, inflicted injuries about himself and tried to present a counter-fir.
