March Madness: Grok predicts first round discomfort

March Madness is here, and it is also Grok to help him complete his group.

If you are reading this, your support is shortly, and it is very likely that you are sweating what inconvenience will happen.

A Google search tells us that the chances of a perfect support are around 1 in 147.5 Trillón So, in all likelihood, not even AI could do it.

But, with the knowledge it has, we asked Grok that the most likely first round discomfort were, and gave us a decent list. Grok listed three seeds No. 12, a couple of 11s and 13s and even a seed of 14 to take into account.

Grok listed five probable stages and three other “candidates. Here are:

Honorary Mentions of Grok

No. 14 Troy about No. 3 Kentucky

Kentucky, as seed number 2 in 2022, fell to No. 15 St. Peter’s, which advanced to elite 8.

Troy has a fairly decent defense, classified in 65th position in carrying food and 27 at points allowed by game against a Wildcats team full of injury.

No. 11 Utah status on No. 6 UCLA

Grok points out the rhythm of Utah State as guilty of the Bruins. The state of Utah occupies position 52 in the duration of possession in the offensive and 361 in defense.

No. 13 High Point about No. 4 Purdue

Boilermakers have been on this path before, falling to No. 16 Fairleight Dickinson as seed number 1 two years ago. Apparently, High Point is not an ideal confrontation, because it has won 14 consecutive games and occupies the seventh place in a true percentage of shooting.

Grok predictions

No. 11 Drake about No. 6 Missouri

Grok says that this is a “candidate for the main discomfort due to Drake’s consistency and the possible Missouri vulnerabilities.” Good point. Drake has 30-3 and its 59.7 points allowed per game are located second in the nation behind only No. 2 Houston. Missouri averages 73.8 Points allowed and is in the middle of the package in free shooting shooting.

The state of Alabama makes March’s madness with Milagrosa Hail Mary in recent seconds to advance

However, Tigers trigger 37.0% of three, and Kenpom’s infamous classifications do not favor Drake, which is the lowest 11th seed (58). Mizzou occupies the 15th position in Kenpom, which means that he is underestimated in terms of support (and Drake is very exaggerated).

No. 12 UC San Diego about No. 5 Michigan

This is a dream confrontation, according to Grok, for the twelfth seed. Grok pointed out that UC San Diego occupies the sixth place in the country in losses of forced ball and fourth when the ball turns. Of 364 schools, Michigan ranked 340 in ball losses. Michigan also occupies the 195th position in a percentage of 3 points (33.4), while UCSD ranks 57 (36.5%).

As for Kenpom, Michigan ranks 25, while UCSDs is only 13 lower points; Michigan would be overvalued, while UC San Diego is underestimated.

No. 12 freedom about Oregon

Grok pointed out the true percentage of Liberty’s shooting, which occupies the sixth place in the country. Liberty occupies the fifth place in a percentage of 3 points against the 171 of Oregon. Liberty occupies the 348th position in free launch percentage, while Oregon is 49.

Seeds No. 12 are 55-101 in the first round, but at least one seed No. 12 has won a 64-games round in 33 of the last 39 tournaments.

No. 13 Yale on No. 4 Texas A&M

Now the fun begins. At least one seed number 13 has reached the round of 32 in 28 of the last 39 tournaments, so it may not be the biggest surprise.

Yale bothered No. 4 Auburn last year, and the AGGIES have 2-5 in their last seven games. So, perhaps we could see that the story is repeated. Yale also obtains 81.4 points per game, which occupies the 23rd position in the country. The AGGIES also occupy the 317 position in an effective percentage of field goal.

No. 12 Colorado State on No. 5 Memphis

Before entering Grok’s analysis, it should be taken into account that Colorado State is actually located ahead of Memphis in Kenpom’s classifications, and Vegas actually has the “helpless” as a favorite of 2.5 points.

Grok points out that Memphis has some injuries and several bad losses against Quad 3 teams this season.
