March Madness: The shot that hits Maryland is questioned.

Derik Queen gave the Maryland Terrapins male basketball program something to cheer on Sunday night, when his shot in the bank that hit the bell won his Mother game of March against the RAMS of the state of Colorado.

Queen’s Fadeaway Jersey gave the Terrapins the 72-71 victory as time expired. It is the first time that Terrapins arrive at Sweet 16 since 2016 and the first time under chief coach Kevin Willard.

The trip to the left side of the floor and the poster Hop gave Queen the best opportunity to put the ball in the basket. However, the passage in the lane became a source of controversy on social networks.

University basketball fans believed that Queen came out with her.

Queen had 17 points in the victory.

“When the coach made the play, I hoped that I and my teammates trusted me,” Queen said. “I was a little nervous, but one owed me, and I had to do it, I had to do this.”

Willard said Queen wanted the ball and made a play for him.

“Sometimes, you can draw something for a guy who may not want basketball,” Willard said. “Then, once that said, it was a fairly simple decision, and I could see that everyone’s body language was encouraged a bit, because I was so sure I wanted basketball.

“It was just a simple zipper: give it basketball and let it go to work.”
