Maria Shriver finally broke the silence of her “brutal” divorce by Arnold Schwarzenegger who left her “terrified.”
The 69 -year author detailed the end of her marriage to The Terminator Actor in his new book, I am Maria.
Maria wrote that she was disconsolate in 2011 after Arnold admitted to having engendered a loving child with her keys, Mildred Baena.
“My heart broke, my spirit broke, broke what was left of me,” he wrote.
“Without my marriage, my parents, a job: the prey of my lifelong capital denial was separated,” added the former first lady of California referring to her late mother and father, Eunice and Sergent Shriver.
“Now, much has been written about the end of my marriage, and I don’t feel that I need or want to discuss it here, or anywhere,” he continued.
Maria added that she was “consumed with pain and torn with confusion, anger, fear, sadness and anxiety.”
“Honestly, it was brutal and was terrified,” Maria wrote in her new book.
For those without versions, María and Arnold finished their divorce in December 2021, almost a decade after presenting the paperwork.
The former have four children together: Katherine Schwarzenegger Pratt, 35, Christina Schwarzenegger, 33, Patrick Schwarzenegger, 31, and Christopher Schwarzenegger, 27.
