Mariah Carey has opened on the co-patinadura of her children.
The singer, who shares two children with former husband Nick Cannon, discussed his children’s country in an interview with Harper’s Bazaar.
Mariah said: “How do I say this? They spend time with him and have a good time; they spend time with me and have a good time.”
She continued adding: “I want to make sure it is always just about the situation because it is difficult to grow with divorced parents.”
Mariah Carey and the Masked singer Student Nick Cannon divorced in 2016. Despite not being together, the former couple makes sure to support his children.
Previously, Mariah said People magazine, “They are a lot, but they give me a lot of love in return. It would not be the same person without them.”
“I think Nick and I have done quite well in the coupling, making friends with each other so that we can speak,” he added.
In addition, the singer also shared her thoughts about her children following in the footsteps of her parents.
She said: “I think both are very talented and intelligent, and if they want to pursue having a life as an artist, then I think they should.”
“It is a difficult type of life, but it seems that they really love to act, so I am happy for them,” Mariah added.
