Meghan Markle stole the show at the 34th Annual Alliance for Children’s Rights Gala on March 19, but not in her usual red carpet fashion.
The Duchess of Sussex accidentally posted a TikTok video in progress inside the women’s bathroom at the Beverly Wilshire Hotel and then shared the moment on her Instagram.
“Proud to honor my eternal friend @heartmom for her excellent work for @allianceforchildrensrights and @allianceofmoms,” Meghan captioned the post.
“Kelly, you’re one of them. Such a special evening + congratulations to the girls in the women’s bathroom making a TikTok video.
“I’m sorry I interrupted your party, but it was too good not to share.”
In the clip, the Suits The star can be seen holding hands and watching in delight as the women show off their dance moves for the camera.
The gala honored Kelly McKee Zajfen, Meghan’s lifelong friend and co-founder of the Alliance of Moms, a nonprofit that supports pregnant and parenting teens in foster care.
talking to Hello!, Kelly called Meghan “an incredible role model in living a life of service,” and praised her quiet dedication behind the scenes.
“She doesn’t do everything out loud; she does things quietly, so it’s really beautiful to watch,” he said.
Meghan also took the stage to introduce her friend, celebrating Kelly’s work and the organization’s impact.
