An injured police officer in an attack against the assistant commissioner in Kurram has succumbed to his wounds.

Police sources confirmed the death of the police officer, according to an Express News report.

Yesterday, in Upper Kurram, three police officers, including Kurram’s assistant commissioner, were injured in a shot incident aimed at a convoy of the government that was heading to mediate a stop the fire between two tribes.

Mrs. added that the assistant commissioner was transported by ambulance to the helipad for aerial evacuation after the trigger incident in Boshhera.

Khyber Pakhtunkhwa’s information advisor, lawyer Dr. Saif, visited the Combined Military Hospital (CMH) in Peshawar Thursday night.
