- Marvel has released the third teaser for Avengers: Judgment Day
- It focuses on the X-Men and hints at some mutant versus sentinel action.
- The fourth teaser of the MCU movie was also leaked online.
The third preview of Avengers: Judgment Day has officially hit the internet and surprisingly no one is focusing on the X-Men.
A week after the mutant-fronted teaser leaked online, Marvel uploaded a higher quality version of said footage to its social media channels.
Look
just like DoomsdayIn the trailers above, the X-Men preview video provides little information about the highly anticipated Marvel Phase 6 movie plot. However, it does suggest that there will be some potentially lethal mutant mayhem to behold, with James Marsden’s Cyclops unleashing a powerful optic blast while screaming in anguish as a mutant-killing Sentinel looms behind him.
Will that scene of desolation follow the one between Professor X and Magneto that is also highlighted in the trailer? I suspect that will be the case. Judging by Magneto’s ominous voiceover accompanying the footage, it’s possible that some or all of the returning X-Men actors, who were announced as part of DoomsdayThe initial 27-member cast may not make it to the end credits. I wonder what my chances are of Patrick Stewart’s Professor
How many Avengers: Doomsday trailers will be released?
Look
No one knows for sure, but depending on what you read online, there could be up to six (!) trailers before the first full trailer for the next Avengers movie is released.
When Avengers: Judgment DayThe first teaser leaked online last December, rumors circulated that three teasers (the first confirming Steve Rogers’ return in Avengers: Judgment Daythe second starring Thor and the last with Doctor Doom, would precede Avengers 5The inaugural trailer. Each advance would be ahead of public projections of Avatar: Fire and Ash for a week alone before landing online, and leading up to the launch of DoomsdayThe official trailer in mid-January.
Look
However, over the 2025 holiday season, new details emerged that there would be four trailers for the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) movie.
As expected, the fourth has already leaked online. And while I won’t be sharing any screenshots of said trailer or links to the leaked footage, I can say that, as noted expert MyTimetoShineHello correctly revealed in advance, it features Shuri, M’Baku, and Namor from the black panther film series, plus Ben Grimm’s The fantastic four: first steps.
It’s incredibly unlikely that this trailer will be the last we see. In fact, Korea’s ratings board recently approved two more advancements, namely the same place detailing about DoomsdayThe other developments emerged for the first time. The trailers supposedly 65 and 72 seconds long were certified on December 30, 2025 and January 2, 2026, implying that they will be ahead of Avatar 3 throughout January.
For what it’s worth, another leaker at Cryptic4KQual claimed that their sources only told them about four trailers before speculating that a fifth could be the first full trailer.
Considering that the Korean qualification classification board has approved licenses for six Doomsday However, I think we will have more progress very soon. As for who might appear in them, other major MCU characters and supergroups: Sam Wilson/Cap 2.0 and his Avengers team, Loki, Thunderbolts/The New Avengers, the rest of the Fantastic Four, and Even Doom himself hasn’t appeared in the trailers so far. It would be a huge oversight if Marvel didn’t highlight those heroes and the new main villain of the Multiverse Saga, wouldn’t it?
One last thought before concluding this article. If three more trailers follow the one for X-Men, and if Marvel maintains the weekly release strategy it has employed thus far, the sixth and final preview video will be released on January 27. That’s just 12 days before the Super Bowl, an annual sporting event watched by billions that, in the eyes of the world’s biggest movie studios, is the perfect place to debut trailers for the year’s hottest new movies.
What are the chances, then, of Marvel releasing six trailers over a six-week period leading up to the reveal of DoomsdayThe first official trailer during one of the Super Bowl 2026 commercial breaks? Pretty high, in my opinion. I guess we’ll see if I’m right in the next few weeks.
