Ragnarok Rebirth no longer exists
There is a new Team Up and changes are coming to the existing ones Marvel Rivals Season 4.5. Unfortunately, Ragnarok Rebirth will be removed entirely, meaning Thor and Hela are no longer a team. To make up for it, Hela joins Namor in Deep Wrath and of course Thor still has a team up with Angela.
How long is the downtime expected to last?
Marvel Rivals has been extremely consistent with downtime between recent seasonal updates. NetEase again estimates between 2 and 3 hours of downtime, although in recent seasons it has been 2 hours. As such, expect 2 hours of downtime, but keep in mind that it might run a little later.
Daredevil joins the fight!
Look
The new hero of season 4.5 is Daredevil. The Man Without Fear is a Duelist and uses his radar vision ability to track enemies through walls. His Ultimate inflicts fear on any opponent who looks in his direction, making him extremely powerful against groups.
Namor removed from Gamma Charge
My prayers have been answered. Namor is no longer part of the Gamma Charge Team Up, which means there will be no more super-powered laser squids beaming at me from afar. However, you will get a new piece of equipment with Hela, called Deep Wrath, which will unlock the new Tidal Dirge ability.
A new event is coming
The Jade Scrolls of K’un-Lun event arrives with Season 4.5. Players can earn the Psylocke – Fleeting Butterfly skin, as well as additional cosmetics for Spider-Man and Storm. There are free rewards and a Premium option for this one.

NetEase has revealed a Developer Vision video for Marvel Rivals Season 4.5. In it, we get a breakdown of the new Team Ups, the new hero, as well as information about the main plot that will run into the next season. Check it out below:

Season 4.5 downtime begins on October 10 at the following time:
- East Coast (US): 5 a.m. ET (October 10)
- West Coast (US): 2 a.m. PT (October 10)
- UK: 10am BST (October 10)
- Europe (Central): 11 am CEST (October 10)
- Japan (Tokyo): 7 pm JST (October 10)
- Australia (Sydney): 8 pm AEST (October 10)
