NEWNow you can listen to Pak Gazette articles!
Welcome to Friday at The Masters. Tune into the Masters app, Masters.com, Prime TV, Paramount+ and ESPN for wall-to-wall coverage!
Yes, it seems like a lot of work. In a way, it has been for golf fans. Gone are the days when CBS would turn on the cameras at 3 pm and show us four straight hours of golf.
But that’s not necessarily a bad thing. As expected, Augusta National has had to evolve, along with its partners, into this new era of streaming. It’s complicated, because Augusta is famous for shaping the coverage of this event. Sometimes you wonder if they want you to see it. at all. I understand.

However, I will say that the introduction of Prime into this year’s tournament has been more successful than I would have thought.
But first, a brief summary of how to watch golf today, tomorrow and, most importantly, Sunday:
How to watch the 2026 Masters on television
That’s basically it in a nutshell. Sure, that nutshell may be huge, but it’s still a nutshell. Or something like that.
To watch The Masters all day, from sunrise to sunset, you need a combination of Paramount+, Amazon Prime, and ESPN. That’s it for today. For weekend viewing, you can go ahead and unsubscribe from Amazon if you want, but choose CBS.
Once again, it sounds daunting. “All you need is a laptop, a TV and some subscriptions.” OK. Sounds great! Thank you Augusta for letting us in!
Some people are understandably upset:
I understand. Too many cooks in the kitchen. This certainly applies here. But that’s the time we live in. The streaming era is ruthless. Everything seemed great years ago on paper, but now it has become exhausting.
But not everything is bad. To start, the simplest answer to all of this is “Just use The Masters app.” Yes, it is a great application. It has everything. You can see everything, in one place. The same goes for Masters.com.
You can go there right now and see the featured groups, Amen Corner, and holes 4, 5, and 6.
Obviously, that won’t be for everyone. It can also be complicated, as most streaming apps are. That’s just the nature of the business.

Many people also don’t realize that they can put the Masters app on their smart TVs, so they end up holding a phone or staring at their laptops all day. Not great. And yes, I mean the older ones. I don’t think it’s a big secret.
I will give credit to Prime though. Again, typically when a new streaming service gets involved in a sport, it can be complicated. Netflix was crucified for a rather lackluster MLB debut a few weeks ago.
By all indications, Prime has been solid so far this week:
Again, not bad. I’ve seen these things shoot up pretty quickly. Prime seemed ready to go, which makes sense given that they’ve had the Thursday Night Football package for years.
Still, like everything in 2026, the Masters coverage has received mixed reviews all week. Does it feel like we’re being pulled? Sure. Has Prime been a good addition to fill the gap between morning and main stream? Absolutely.

Some people will tell you to stop complaining, because there was a time, not long ago, when you didn’t understand anything. any Television coverage of the Masters until 3 p.m.
Obviously, that is no longer the case. Now you can watch golf all day long.
You just have to work to find it.
