Jackson Jobe, one of the best prospects of the Detroit Tigers and son of a Masters golfer, won the first victory in the big leagues of his career on Saturday against the Minnesota Twins.
Jobe is the son of Brandt Jobe, who appeared in three master’s competitions and ended up tied in 14 in 1999.
Jackson Jobe was six tickets and struck out two batters and allowed two hits when the tigers won the 4-0 game. It was his third beginning of the season.

He explained his play plan to journalists, since he did not have a lot of strikeouts in the day.
“I have not been throwing my curved ball for strikes, so there was a great emphasis on that at today’s exit,” he said, through MLB.com. “I’ve been wanting to throw it a little more, but [catcher Tomás] Nest is not going to call it if I am not throwing it for strikes. I feel that today it took a quite big step. “
The victory came in the middle of the weekend of Masters in Augusta National in Georgia and good memories of his father competing in the tournament.

ESPN said Jobe stayed for his father during the PAR 3 contest in 2006.
Brandt Jobe had 16 professional victories during his career. Six arrived on the PGA tour in Japan. The highest he had classified was 30 in 1998.
He was the winner of the Order of the Merit of the Merit of the Merit of Canada of 1990 and the winner of the 1995 Asian Golf Circuit.

As for the Tigers, they are at the top of the central division of the American League with a 9-5 record.
