We are in a whole week in the Augusta National Golf Club, since the third round of the Masters had fireworks on Saturday afternoon, courtesy of two stars fighting for the green jacket.
Rory Mcilroy and Bryson Dechambeau started the day with 6 bass and 7 -under, respectively, but those numbers changed quickly, thanks to some fantastic shots to start their rounds.
Mcilroy had had a Birdie start with a perfect first hole. But a stronger roar came when Dechambeau, in a group with Saturday leader, Justin Rose, moved away just behind him.

The Dechambeau approach shot hit the green, but landed on the back with a long Putt Birdie ahead. With a break down, Dechambeau was probably trying to bring it closer to an easy torque to start the round, but the line was too perfect, just like its speed.
Dechambeau and the group of clients around the first green observed how his ball dripped by the slope and found the bottom of the cup to tie him with Rose to 8 bass. Dechambeau let out a small fist bomb, although it remained stoic in his behavior, knowing that 17 holes were ahead.
But Mcilroy’s second hole sent customers to a frenzy, while taking the lead, thanks to some soft hands around the second green.

An absolute monster impulse carried the right street bunkers in hole 2 that were about 330 yards in the 5,585 yardas pair. Mcilroy prepared for an eagle potential, but his approach was too deep, which required a chip for his third shot.
It was a good look to close the ball for a Birdie to hit so that its start was even better, but saw the line and executed the chip perfectly.

The ball bounced twice before controlling and opening the way to the hole, and was the perfect line, since it sank for three and a fast low swing to start its third round.
The crowd went crazy when Mcilroy took the only advantage, which promoted even more with a Birdie at number 3.
It is the “Moving Day” in Augusta, with the players who strive for their position to capture the victory in the first specialty of this year. Mcilroy and Dechambeau, winners of previous seniors, have not yet collected their own green jackets, and are currently playing as potential champions.

At the time of this position, Mcilroy is 5 under the day, which gives him 11 bass for the tournament. Dechambeau is three blows behind him at 8 bass, while Rose and Shane Lowry are tied third to 7 bass.
