Masters News: Rory Mcilroy, Bryson Dechambeau paired for the final round

The 89th edition of The Masters is in a thriller on Sunday.

Rory Mcilroy and Bryson Dechambeau are in the final match, and golf fans will remember how these two are connected after the Open of US 2024.

Dechambeau won the United States Open in Pinehurst No. 2, while Mcilroy had an epic collapse with the putter at the end of the round to throw its potential title.

This time, Mcilroy published another 6 bass round in Augusta National on Saturday after increasing the classification on Friday.

Mcilroy put his first disappointing round, when he ended up even in pair after two double bogeys in the second nine, in the rearview mirror after publishing a 66 in his second round. Then, he had a hot start, going Birdie, Eagle, Birdie to take the front quickly.

It was an advantage that did not give up even after hesitating in the holes eight and 10, placing a ghost on the score card to return to 9 bass.

However, Mcilroy recovered those shots with a Birdie at number 13 and number 15, which ruined his first round after hitting a chip in the water. He buried another eagle to take him to 12 bass.

Then, Mcilroy, who needs a green jacket to achieve a Grand Slam of his career after winning any other important in the PGA Tour, has the opportunity of Sunday to finally obtain it, while winning the elusive fifth major of his career.

Dechambeau will match Mcilroy and is looking for his own Masters first victory. Dechambeau finished his third round with a long and winding Birdie in Hole 18 to finish with a 69 in the day and 10 bass for the tournament.

He recorded three Birdies in his last four holes, and the LIV golf star let a roar with fans around Green 18.

Former champion standing out; Rose starts to wilt

While all the eyes are put in Mcilroy and Dechambeau after the third round on Saturday, Zach Johnson, the 2007 Masters champion, flew by the classification after publishing a 66 before the two golfers even moved away.

Johnson is now tied in the tenth place on Sunday at 4 bass for the tournament.

Rose, the teacher’s leader after the first two rounds, was paired with Dechambeau on Saturday, hoping to hold on to that leadership in the final round.

But it was a battle from the first moment. Rose had to fight to save Pars, and finally reached it. He published five Bogeys and two Birdies to finish 3 in the day.

Rose is now tied in sixth place with 5 -under, and will have to seem more as he did on Thursday, when she published a 65 in the first round, to have the opportunity to walk through Butler Cabin for a green jacket.
