While it was known that Tiger Woods would not participate in this year’s Masters tournament, the annual Masters Champions dinner Tuesday night could have been on the cards for the five -time winner.
However, of the 35 chairs that were reserved for previous champions of the Illustrious Mayor, Woods was not among them.
Golfweek learned of the 1971 teachers Victor Charles Cody that Woods, who suffered a tear of Achilles, still cannot walk correctly, hence his absence of dinner.

“We were keeping our jackets, and the boys said Tiger still can’t put weight on his foot,” Coody said. “They said their weight tolerance is simply not there to climb those stairs.”
Woods broke his Achilles tendon on his left foot last month, which made him obsolete for at least the 2025 campaign while supporting extensive rehabilitation.
Woods announced the injury last month, saying that he felt “acute pain in my left Achilles”, while trying to train and practice at home to return to the course. He underwent surgery shortly after, saying he expects a complete recovery.

“I am back at home now and plan to concentrate on my recovery and rehabilitation, thanks for all the support,” he added.
Woods had been playing at the TGL, a golf simulator league founded by him and Rory Mcilroy. Woods associated with Tom Kim, Max Homa and Kevin Kisner for that adventure.
Although Woods has not recently been in the course, he has made news, specifically after confirming his relationship with Vanessa Trump, Donald Trump Jr.’s ex -wife.

“Love is in the air and life is better with you by my side! We wait for our trip together through life. At this time, we appreciate the privacy of all close to our hearts,” Woods wrote in his publication on social networks with Vanessa.
Woods is also doing some news this week of teachers, even if he is not there.
It was announced that it will design a nine -hole field and par 3 in the municipal golf course of Augusta, which is more commonly known as the patch, named for the orchards that were once close to the property of the Augusta National Golf Club.
The renewal of the course will be funded by Augusta National and Woods’ Foundation, which is building an educational center for local public students. The PAR-3 course would be known as The Loop, which honors Augusta National Caddies who would meet there to play in his free time.

“It is a transcendental day for all of us at the TGR Foundation to have this moment, to be able to do this together with Augusta,” Woods said in comments previously recorded on Monday, “and do something in a place that has meant a lot to me in my life.”
