Matt Damon may be one of the most famous leading men in Hollywood, but at home he’s still just “Dad.”
His daughter Gia made sure to remind him during a rare family outing.
The Oscar winner stepped out with his wife Luciana Barroso and their four daughters (Alexia, 26, Isabella, 19, Gia, 17, and Stella, 15) for the New York premiere of his new Netflix movie. The tearco-starring his old friend Ben Affleck.
While the family’s close-knit appearance was already making headlines, it was Gia’s playful jab that stole the show.
Caught on camera, Gia poked fun at her father’s awkward pose on the red carpet.
She joked to her father: “Why are you standing like this?” before imitating his hunched pose.
Damon laughed at the roast, exaggerating his posture and smiling at the photographers.
The joyful exchange quickly became one of the most talked about moments of the night.
The outing marked Isabella, Gia and Stella’s first red carpet with their father since July 2024.

Alexia, Damon’s eldest stepdaughter, also attended the red carpet posing alongside her parents and sister Isabella.
Damon has often spoken about the joy of fatherhood.
In previous interviews, he described becoming a stepfather to Alexia as life-changing, comparing the feeling to the Grinch’s heart growing “five times its size.”
In 2019, he even had the names of all four daughters tattooed on his arm along with a tribute to Luciana.
