- Max added more than 120 new functions to its application in 2024

Max has been busy making many updates in its application in the last year as part of its global expansion to more countries, but not all new characteristics are welcome.
Of the 120 new features that were added to the Max application in 2024, most are aimed at improving the content discovery trip to find the best Max movies and the best Max programs, but there have also been some less favorable updates related to advertisements.
These include ads that allow you to buy products related to the content you are seeing by clicking on a QR code, sponsored and commercial content recommendations that are directed to “moments” (which do not confuse with the “moments” function of Netflix that facilitates the exchange of social content).
It is an area in which many of the best transmission services double and more double, since they look for more ways to generate lost income of films and programs without success. In fact, Prime Video has also added many of the same advertisement functions during the past year, which makes it slowly fill with even more ads.

Like Netflix, Max has also added similar functionality to recommend more films and programs to see after having finished transmitting a title. This means that after 25 seconds, if you have not selected anything else, a related gender title will automatically begin to play.
Another Netflix feature that Max has added is that the titles on the home page will automatically begin the trailer with audio while sailing. I don’t know about you, but I can’t help finding this distraction while looking for content and prefers the audio to go out while the video is reproduced. At least, this characteristic has only launched to the US for now.
Other features only from the United States have been added include the ability to see five of the HBO linear channels through the application. These include HBO, HBO 2, HBO Signature, HBO Comedy and HBO Zone.
And, of course, we cannot forget the new Multiview function for the 2025 Nascar Cup that places it in the driver’s seat that was added to the applications of the US subscribers. UU. These are just a small part of the technological updates that the Max transmission application has added since September 2024, but highlight much of the work behind the scene that the service is doing, since it seems to expand in more regions.
