- Max is relocating its navigation menu higher to the side.
- You are also adding two new ways to find content to transmit.
- The design change is beginning to slowly implement televisions.
If you have opened the Maximum application On his television and noticed that the upper navigation bar is, well, it is no longer at the top, he is not watching things. It is part of a redesigned navigation menu that the transmission service is beginning to be implemented after a successful test in Latin America.
This change only reaches televisions, so smart interfaces or a transmission box such as Roku Ultra or Apple TV 4K, not for the web interface or mobile applications.
Where was your easy navigation to HBO? I mean, we all need our Larry David Fix courtesy of Delete your enthusiasm. Where did sports, news and series? Well, not so far, since now resides in a new menu bar on the left side of the screen. And with him, Max offers new ways to find cured content.
Two new submenus, which is new and categories, join the existing series, movies, HBO, sports and news submenus. These submenu are aimed at facilitating the delivery of content recommendations and finding something to transmit. Both are typical missions for streamers, since several services try new ways to make consumption faster and effortless content.
The new is a little more than the name suggests too. Yes, it will serve the last arrivals of Max, but will also shed light on the content that will arrive in a short time, but also, and perhaps the most important thing, the movies, the television programs and the documentaries that will leave. In this way, you can get one or two more watches of the things you are sad to see.
The categories are explained a little more, but they will break content for different topics, genres and brands. In any case, both new sections are additions welcome to the pre -existing ones, everything there to help you find the programs and movies you want to see faster.
The Max navigation menu, which lives to the left, also cleanses the upper part of the interface, which allows you to see the upper image of the carousel with little or no distraction. It could also allow Max to launch more cinematographic images to promote its latest content or prominent.
This deployment is not available for each maximum subscriber at the same time, so don’t worry if you still don’t see it. First it will take some time to reach a subset of users and eventually expand to the full customer base on TV devices connected worldwide and wherever the transmission service is available. In a shared statement, Max points out that design could be “slightly modified in all regions to adapt to local needs.”
It will be interesting to see the broader reaction of the user to the Redesign of the Max navigation menu, whether it is modified even more and if other transmission services will implement changes based on them. You may remember that Amazon gave Prime Video a great redesign this summer, and you can see our first practice here.
But considering that we are talking about Max, Look our favorite content on the platform here.
