“Weak men are rewriting the truth. Real men are standing up to protect it,” he said in a statement. “Women are not weak, they are sacred. They should not be protected out of pity, but out of courage. Men should honor women, not control them, not silence them, but support them.

“This isn’t just a brand. It’s a line in the sand. XX-XY Athletics makes high-quality equipment, but most importantly, it creates belief: the belief that strength is not toxic, it is necessary. That masculinity and femininity are sacred. That our wives, daughters and sisters should never have to fight this battle alone.”

Former Team USA gymnast Jennifer Sey founded the brand in an effort to provide athletes who want to keep the women’s sports fair with an athletic company that aligns with their values.

“Dakota is the ultimate girl dad, strong for his daughters and his country. He embodies the kind of moral courage our culture desperately needs today,” Sey added. “He is a Marine, a father and a leader who believes in protecting what is sacred, and that includes women’s sports. Dakota believes that women and girls deserve privacy, safety and justice and he is not afraid to say it. We are honored to have him join XX-XY Athletics as an advocate for the truth and for women.”
