- NucBox K17 combines CPU, GPU and NPU for complete AI performance
- Intel Core Ultra 5 226V processor delivers efficient, high-speed computing
- Integrated Arc 130V GPU delivers 53 TOPS AI performance with INT8 accuracy
GMKTec has introduced the NucBox K17 Mini PC focusing on compact AI performance, combining a high-efficiency processor with integrated graphics and a dedicated neural unit.
The NucBox K17 is built around the Intel Core Ultra 5 226V processor, which features 8 cores and 8 threads manufactured in the TSMC N3B process.
This mini PC achieves a maximum boost clock of 4.5 GHz with a maximum thermal design power of 37 W and delivers up to 97 TOPS of total AI performance across its CPU, GPU and NPU components.

AI performance is approaching triple-digit territory
The integrated Intel Arc 130V GPU takes care of graphics duties and delivers a maximum AI performance of 53 TOPS with INT8 accuracy.
A dedicated Intel AI Boost NPU provides an additional 40 TOPS for AI workloads and on-device acceleration tasks, a combination that allows the K17 to handle AI applications without relying on cloud services or external GPUs.
The system comes with 16GB of onboard LPDDR5X memory that runs at speeds up to 8533 MT/s, although this configuration is non-removable and cannot be upgraded later.
The K17 supports synchronous three-display setups and can achieve resolutions up to 8K on supported displays.
Video output options include two HDMI ports and a USB4 Type-C interface that also supports DisplayPort with 4K resolution and 60 Hz.
The USB4 port provides 40Gbps data transfer speeds and a 100W power delivery input, allowing you to power the system through a compatible monitor or docking station.
For storage, the mini PC includes two M.2 2280 SSD slots with a maximum capacity of up to 16TB when using two 8TB drives.
The system ships with PCIe 4.0 SSDs but also supports faster PCIe 5.0 SSDs for users who need higher bandwidth.
The cooling system uses a superconducting copper turbine fan design with dual stereo surround air intake, intended to maintain thermal stability under sustained workloads.
Users can select from three power modes: 20W silent operation, 25W balanced mode, or 35W performance mode with a peak of 37W.
The system with 16GB of RAM and a 512GB SSD is priced at $559.99 after a $210 discount from its original price of $769.99. The 1TB model is available for $619.99, down from $819.99.
Both configurations can be purchased on the official GMKTec website, which offers free shipping to most countries and includes a one-year warranty.
