Prince Harry and his wife Meghan Markle are reportedly at odds over their relationship with their cousins Princess Eugenie and Beatrice amid the Sarah Ferguson and Andrew scandal.
This has been stated by royal expert Duncan Larcombe, who believes that Meghan will not want to “appear too sympathetic to Harry’s cousins.”
He Woman and home quoted Duncan Larcombe as saying that Harry and Meghan are “divided” about publicly supporting the York sisters, and that the duchess is “very aware” of the sensitivities involved.
The royal expert further said: “Harry has always been close to Beatrice and Eugenie.
“They didn’t see each other much growing up because they didn’t live very close to each other, but they always got together for Christmas at Sandringham.”
Archie and Lilibet’s loving mother has forged her own close bond with Eugenie and Beatrice over the years, especially Eugenie, who has been visiting them in California.
However, despite this, the royal expert believes there is a “divide” between Harry and Meghan over her.
“The situation of Jeffrey Epstein is tremendously delicate, especially in the United States and, of course, Epstein, Harvey Weinstein and Ghislaine Maxwell were photographed together on Beatrice’s 18th birthday,” said the expert.
He went on to say: “I don’t think she can object to Harry supporting them privately, but they will be on very different pages.
“Neither Harry nor Meghan will want to be seen associated with Andrew or Sarah Ferguson. From Meghan’s point of view it’s probably a business issue, from Harry’s point of view it’s probably more of an emotional issue.”
