Meghan Markle has had a positive moment in her career in a long time, says a source.
The Duchess of Sussex, who recently attended Paris Fashion Week to support Balenciaga at the show, is said to have her “moment” before long.
An industry insider has said: “Paris was a ‘moment’ for her. It’s the first positive relationship she’s had in years. Fashion is where she’ll focus her attention now.”
This comes days before Meghan attended the Powerful Women Summit in Washington DC this week.
During the summit, Fortune editor-in-chief Alyson Shontell told the duchess: “You’ve been to Europe. You’ve just been to New York, congratulations, you’ve just won a humanitarian award for your work with online safety for parents and children, and you came home for a day to see your kids.”
Meghan laughed and replied: “Because I had to. We were talking about it because everyone was saying ‘Oh, you must have gone from Paris straight to New York.'”
“I said ‘No, I need to see my babies.’ So I went back to California for a day and then I moved on,” she admitted.
