Meghan Markle has apparently included a subtle message in her daughter Princess Lilibet’s birthday celebration this year.
The Duchess of Sussex celebrated Prince Harry’s fourth birthday on June 4, taking her children, including Prince Archie to Disneyland, for a magical family getaway.
On Instagram, Meghan posted photos and videos of Lilibet Blue Little Mermaid’s birthday cake, with a Topper Ariel.
However, Dailymail I noticed that Meghan’s choice cake was in reference to his previous comments about the comparison with Ariel, the Disney princess who renounced her voice for love.
A year after Prince Harry and Meghan Markle left their roles, the couple sat for an interview with Oprah Winfrey in 2021.
Meghan, who was pregnant with Princess Lilibet at that time, talked about how she identified with the character.
The Duchess of Sussex said: “She was sitting at Nottingham Cottage and the Little Mermaid.
“And I was, ‘My God, she falls in love with the prince and that is why she loses her voice,” but in the end she regained her voice, “he added, referring to her supposed treatment within the royal family.
In particular, when Oprah asked him: “You feel you recovered your voice” Meghan replied: “Yes.”
