Meghan Markle joined Princess Kate and thousands of women around the world to mark a special event with a heartfelt plea.
On March 8, the Duchess of Sussex issued a statement celebrating “the strength, resilience and achievements of women” on International Women’s Day.
On the official Sussex website, Meghan urged people to come forward for women in the communities around them.
Speaking of her and Prince Harry’s Archewell Philanthropies mission, the former royal spokesperson said: “We are proud to champion organizations that provide safety, housing and critical support to women rebuilding their lives.”
Meghan said she is honored to support such initiatives, which aim to offer “stability, dignity and opportunity” to disadvantaged women and their families.
His team mentioned a list of some organizations that receive support from Archewell.
At the end of her emotional message, Meghan emphasized that women should be supported all year round and not just “once a year.”
Making a plea to her fans, Archie and Liliber’s adorable mom said, “If you’re looking for a way to support women, consider supporting a shelter or organization in your own community.”
It is important to mention that Meghan marked Women’s Day after she and Netflix announced that they would end their partnership for As Ever.
