Meghan Markle is sharing a key lesson that she and Prince Harry are instilling in her children, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet.
While appearing in the Aspirate with Emma Gred Podcast, launched on June 17, the Duchess of Sussex argued to start her business as always.
During the discussion, the good American co -founder asked Meghan if he ever discussed the money with his children.
“Sometimes we do a small position of the farmers market,” said the mother of two.
“We cultivate many vegetables and part of what I want you to learn is, and gardening is really great for children, because it teaches them patience, it teaches them to value and appreciate their food,” said Meghan.
She explained how she and Harry teach her children about earning money and how to spend it through the harvest.
She said: “Then, you start from the seed and see it grow, and wait. But with that, it’s like, now you want to sell your harvest? And you want to share it with our community? And also, what do you want to do with those funds once you have them?”
“So they really begin to understand as they learn counting and numbers and all those things, that there is a cost and a price for things. And I think that is key for children to understand that, especially children who are very lucky to have a home that has privileges,” he added.
“You need to know that, like manners, and take care of the things around you, there is a value in things,” he reasoned.
“In our life, for my husband and for me, it is really important that they understand the value of things,” he explained.
Meghan Markle and Prince Harry married in 2018 and welcomed their son, Archie, in 2019, followed by Lilibet in 2021.
