Meghan Markle’s first struggles within the monarchy, after their marriage to Prince Harry, began at Nottingham Cottage, where they first lived.
Write to Yes Madam The real expert and author Tom Quinn wrote that the Duchess of Sussex took the modest size of the residence as a light against Harry.
The expert said that Meghan interpreted him as the royal family that belittles her husband, without knowing that they do not value material things.
“Starting life as a member of the Royal Family at Nottingham Cottage was the beginning of all Meghan’s problems: she felt it was so small that it should be a reflection on how the royal family belittled her husband,” Quinn wrote.
He added: “She simply did not understand that the real real ones do not care about houses and material possessions because they always had them, they take them for granted.”
The expert also shared how the palace staff were surprised to see Meghan’s security.
“She believed a lot to grab the bull by the horns, except that the royal family is not really a bull,” said a former author assistant.
“Meghan thought he knew better than an institution that has been in business for 1,000 years and more,” another shared with Quinn, for Daily Mail.
