Retired Hollywood lighting director Thomas Markle revealed he finally felt joy again after being sad about his daughter for “so long.”

Thomas, who recently underwent life-saving leg amputation surgery after an accident, explained that after his stroke, things had not gone very well, so he adopted a “softer lifestyle” in the Philippines.
He noted that he did not expect to meet Rio, who is a mother of two children and who had changed her life in a “wonderful way.”
“Haters gonna hate but to be honest, I don’t give a damn. Life is for living. There’s nothing more important in life than love.”
He also admitted that he still loves his daughter, even though the only communication they had was earlier this year when Meghan sent him a handwritten letter. Thomas said he would love to see his grandchildren, too.
“I love Meghan. She’s my daughter,” he said. “But I don’t know how much time I have left and I want to spend the time I have being happy.”
When asked if he had any plans to marry, Thomas said there was no discussion of the topic, but he would do it if it was “beneficial” for Rio.
