Meghan Markle scored a big win by quietly partnering with a UK studio as tension mounts around Prince Harry’s bittersweet return to his homeland.
The Duchess of Sussex has teamed up with a small, woman-owned British studio for the launch of her first As Ever product in 2026, introducing a limited-edition leather bookmark that immediately flew off the shelves. It marked their first release since last year’s Holiday Collection.
The bookmark was launched on Tuesday 13 January in collaboration with Sbri, a New Forest-based workshop known for handmade keepsakes. The piece features the phrase “Fell Asleep Here,” stamped in gold using Meghan’s own calligraphy, and she describes it as “a keepsake designed for those who stay, pause, and return.”
In addition to the bookmark, As Ever also released a “A Time to Relax Set,” which includes the Honeycomb Sage Honey and Peppermint Tea Bookmark.
The collaboration clearly paid off for Meghan, as it sold out in a matter of minutes. But while she celebrates, her husband, Prince Harry, is preparing for a court battle on British soil. The Duke of Sussex is expected to travel to London later this month to begin his High Court case against Associated Newspapers Limited, publisher of the daily mail.
Although Meghan is not expected to join Harry on the legal visit, speculation continues that she could return to the UK later this summer. Reports suggest she could accompany him to a one-year countdown event ahead of the 2027 Invictus Games in Birmingham, given proper safety measures are in place. There was also a lot of speculation about the return of his partner’s children, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet.
If so, it would mark their first visit to Britain since 2022, when the couple extended their stay after the death of Queen Elizabeth II.
