Hurts was not the only Eagles player to jump his visit to the White House.

The Hurts teammate, Saquon Barkley, also attended the Met Gala on Monday. Barkley faced criticism for interacting with Trump on social networks and rejected the setback he received.

“Lol, some people are really annoying because I played golf and turned to the White House with the president,” Barkley wrote in X in April. “Maybe just respect the office, it is not a difficult concept to understand. Only golf with Obama not long ago … And I hope to finish my round with Trump! Now, now you go out of my mentions with all this policy and have an incredible day.”

While Hurts has received criticism for his decision to omit the celebration of the Eagles in the White House, others have supported the decision of the Field Marshal.
