Most of Pakistan’s parts continue to experience a warm and dry climate, with expected ascending temperatures in the next few days. However, the Department of Meteorology has predicted the rain accompanied by thunderstorms and strong winds in some regions of northern Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa.

According to the last notice, it is likely that dry conditions persist in much of the province, particularly in the southern districts, where heat will be more intense compared to other areas.

Climate experts indicated a possibility of rain in parts of Chitral, Dir, Kohistan, Mansehra and Swat, accompanied by winds and rays. These areas were also witnesses of scattered showers the previous day.

The rain recorded the previous day included 14 mm in dir, 9 mm in Kalam, 4 mm in Drosh and 3 mm each in Patan and Balakot.

Temperature readings showed suffocation conditions in key cities with Peshawar that record 35 ° C, Dera Ismail Khan 39 ° C, Bannu 35 ° C, while the coldest conditions prevailed in mountainous areas with Kalam at 16 ° C, Malam Jabba 18 ° C, Chitral 22 ° C and Dir 26 ° C.

The authorities have advised residents, particularly in southern KP, to remain hydrated and limit outdoor activity during peak heat hours. Climate conditions are expected to remain similar in the next 48 hours.
