LAHORE:
A flight from the Emirates airline on the road from Islamabad to Dubai temporarily entered the Indian Air Space at dawn on Thursday morning due to severe climatic conditions, sources of aviation confirmed on Friday.
According to airport officials, the EK-715 flight, which left Islamabad around 4:30 am, found heavy rains near Lahore, which led the pilot to divert the plane slightly out of its planned course for safety reasons.
The plane deviated on Sialkot and Nareowal, inadvertently entering the Indian airspace near Amritsar due to limited visibility and stormy climate.
