Mianwali Express avoids little important accident

A train bound for Lahore de Mianwali avoided little accident on Friday night when a trainers damping during the trip broke, which forced railway officials to separate the affected coach to avoid a higher risk.

According to the sources, the incident occurred near the Kundian station, where the economic class coach (number 12353) suffered a damper failure, a critical component that connects trains coaches.

Railway personnel intervened quickly, disconnecting the damaged coach before the train continued their trip, Express News reported.

The last malfunction occurs in the midst of the growing scrutiny of the rail system, which has faced repeated technical failures and safety failures in recent years.

Earlier this month, the Jaffar Express, on the route of Quetta to Peshawar with approximately 450 passengers, was kidnapped by terrorists of the Baluchistan Liberation Army (Bla) in the Baluchistan region of Bolan Pass.

The assailants detonated explosives on the tracks, which caused the train to stop, and then opened fire, which caused a tense confrontation.

The terrorists boarded the train, segregated passengers by ethnicity and executed several people, including security personnel.

In the course of two days, the Pakistani security forces launched the Green Bolan operation, which culminated in the rescue of 354 hostages and the death of the 33 terrorists. The incident resulted in at least 64 deaths, covering soldiers, rail and civil personnel.
