Giving some extra personality to their Microsoft equipment chats could soon be much faster, thanks to a new update that is in process,
The videoconference service has revealed that users can soon add emojis to chats with a much simpler method than before, “making it faster to express themselves,” says Microsoft.
The update will mean that Microsoft Teams users can insert emojis directly from its “without distractions” keyboard, the company added.

In a Microsoft 365 route map publication, the company said that the addition will provide users with more customization communication options within their chats, since it will include custom user created emoji.
The tool still appears as “in development”, but has a date of starting implementation of April 2024, since when it will be available for users of Microsoft equipment worldwide in Windows Desktop and Web.
Announced for the first time in May 2024, emoji and personalized reactions are relatives for those who have to use a variety of collaboration tools at work, since it has been part of Slack for many years.
Up to 5,000 personalized emojis can be added in Microsoft equipment, being part of the continuous impulse of Microsoft equipment to increase customization and customization options on the platform.
This includes the recent addition of the option for users to select their preferred leather tone for Microsoft equipment reactions.
Presented for the first time in January 2021, the reactions of the Microsoft teams provide users with a quick and easy way to show their approval (or not) to chat messages and calls, covering a variety of emojis and symbols such as A thumb up, a face frown or even a heart love.
Microsoft Teams has also launched virtual avatars, offering users more customization options, while encouraging the appearance of calls, along with the new visual effects, including animated frames and the alteration of the video tone, in addition to the tools existing ones that allow users to blur the funds and soften the video feed to mask and obscure imperfections.
