Microsoft has revealed an initial Windows 365 Reserve launch, a new service that provides users temporary access and dedicated to the PC in the cloud when its main device is not available.
The company says that Windows 365 Reserve is designed to maintain business continuity during any type of interruption, either from a cyber attack such as ransomware, a hardware failure, problems or losses or software robberies.
In a blog post, Microsoft’s senior products manager Logan Silliman explained that companies already have to deal with “Halt[ed] productivity, delay[ed] deliverables and tension[ed] IT teams, “but the new offer could raise a great weight of companies during these stress times.
Windows 365 Reserve is available for some users to try it
Microsoft will give users up to 10 days per year, which can be divided into incidents or used at once.
“With this solution, organizations can proactively establish protections that reduce financial and operational impacts when interruptions arise,” Silliman added.
Promising the usual set of Microsoft 365 applications, existing Microsoft Intune policies and safe access from any device, Windows 365 Reserve could greatly improve the return of a worker to productivity.

Microsoft pointed out that the characteristic developed after customers expressed concern about the challenges that are prepared for interruptions.
End users affected by any type of interruption can recover access to their work starting session in their Windows 365 reserve through a web browser or the Windows application.
The launch of limited public prior view occurs less than two months after Microsoft first lifted the concept wrappers.
