The San Diego Padres manager Mike Shildt was expelled from the 4-3 defeat Monday night against the San Francisco giants, but few could blame him after a crucial homer was revoked.
In the second entrance, the parents’ campocort, Xander Bogaerts, seemed to hit a right ball on the wall of the left field in Petco Park, a very necessary impulse after the giants scored four races in the first entrance to take a dominant advantage.
However, the giants left the gardener Heliot Ramos, they looked at the painting again, asking for the interference of fans. He believed that a fan had altered the trajectory of the ball.

The work went to the video review, and replay seemed to show that the fan never touched the ball. Instead, Ramos simply could not capture. The ball deviated from his glove and landed in the front row.

The repetition team in Secaucus, New Jersey, saw it differently. The referees revoked the homer, and the 4-0 advantage of the giants remained intact.
Shildt came out of the bench immediately after the call and was automatically expelled. According to MLB rules, managers and players are prohibited from discussing video review decisions.

The overturned solo shooting was huge. San Diego recovered with three races in the seventh entrance to return to the game, but finally fell 4-3.
The loss was the fourth consecutive of the parents, after a weekend sweep of the Los Angeles Dodgers in a fundamental series of the NL West. San Diego entered the weekend at the top of the division, but quickly returned to second place. Now, with 69-56, they follow the Dodgers for two games.

With the MLB season entering its last stretch before the postseason, each game has weight, something that Shildt and each world series contender know very well.
