Another controversy of fans who involved a dirty ball made its way to the MLB stage on Saturday night, this time involving the star of Los Angeles Angels, Mike Trout, and a pattern of the Houston stars.
Yanier Díaz de Houston ski a ball along the line of the right field, and Trout began to track it towards the edge of the seats.
It was then that he jumped to catch the ball just for the groceries of the Astros Jared Whalen out of his glove.

MLB fans on social networks immediately compared the situation with the 2024 World Series when New York Yankees fans took the ball, and glove, out of the hand of the Los Angeles Dodgers star, Mookie Betts, causing their expulsion. These fans also obtained an indefinite prohibition of the 30 major league stages.
However, there is a key difference in this situation because Whalen had the right to grab the ball because it was in the lack of foul. He never reached the border to capture Steve Bartman on that fateful day at Wrigley Field.

Whatn spoke with Atlético after the game, saying that he was simply defending his son when the ball was heading in his direction.
“I just didn’t know what was happening,” he said. “I didn’t realize that it was a play. I was approaching my son’s face. I just extended.”

The trout seemed to make a tremendous play in a bad mood, and heated when a referee simply called him a dirty ball.
Security was reduced to address Whamen, but was not expelled from the game. Instead, he and his son were transferred to different seats.
Then, after the 4-1 victory of the Angels over the stars, Trout met with Whaless and his son in the Daikin Park tunnel. He listened to Trout telling Whatn that he appreciated his reaction, and Whalen said he had no bad will towards the Los Angelinos gardener. He even returned the ball to the trout.
Trout, giving Whaless’s son a signed bat, signed the missing ball that his father caught.

Trout was 1 by 4 with two races driven in the victory, while gardener’s partner Taylor Ward was 2 of 5 with a home run. Nolan Shanuel also took one in the victory.
