Miley Cyrus’ boyfriend Maxx Morando ‘changed everything’ for the singer

Miley Cyrus didn’t expect to find herself headed toward marriage again, until Maxx Morando came into her life.

One source says Us weekly that “Miley never thought she would remarry, and Maxx changed everything for her,” adding that their bond has remained “really healthy and private” during their four years together.

The couple’s engagement, confirmed on December 2, occurred quietly in early November.

They were hoping to keep it to themselves, but fans quickly caught on when Cyrus arrived at the Avatar: fire and ash premiere on December 1 wearing a striking gold and diamond ring.

A representative for designer Jacquie Aiche later confirmed that the ring was custom-made and featured a cushion-cut stone on a striking 14-karat yellow gold band.

Cyrus’ willingness to say yes again is especially significant given how different her past was.

Before Morando, the singer spent a decade in an on-again, off-again relationship with Liam Hemsworth, which ended in a brief marriage that fell apart in less than a year.

Reflecting on that chapter in 2020, he told Howard Stern: “There was too much conflict. When I come home, I want someone to support me. I don’t like drama or fights.”

She also made it clear that her love for him was real, saying that she “really loved him very, very, very much and I still loved him and I always will.”

After dating Patrick Schwarzenegger and Cody Simpson in the following years, Cyrus met Morando on a blind date in the summer of 2021, a match that ended up being much more serious than she expected.

They’ve kept much of their relationship out of the spotlight, but Cyrus has shared small glimpses, including a fun nod to their nearly six-year age difference.

in it Sorry, we’re Cyrus On the podcast, she joked that she can’t wait for him to turn 27, because “that was a big year for me.”

He also explained why he feels like the right person like no one else has. Giving credence to astrology, he noted that he is a Scorpio, just like his grandfather.

That, she said, is what makes him “so great because he can sting,” adding that she couldn’t be with someone without that edge. “They would be fried by now,” he said.

From a blind date to a private proposal, Morando has become the person who changed the singer’s vision of love and marriage, something she did not expect and that she now fully embraces.
