ISLAMABAD:
Law and Justice Minister Azam Nazeer Tarar on Tuesday informed the Senate that there were no restrictions or bans on the admission of Baloch students in public sector universities in Punjab.
Responding to an issue raised by Senator Kamran Murtaza in the Senate, the minister said that a total of 3,850 Baloch students were currently enrolled in various universities of Punjab and their quota remained fully intact.
He said that most of these students were studying in Punjab University, Government College University, Bahauddin Zakariya University, Islamia University Bahawalpur and other public sector institutions.
