Minister of Education Lanza Title Verification Portal

Islamabad:

The Minister of Education, Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui, inaugurated on Tuesday the Portal of the Customer Service Desk (CCD) for the verification of certificates, developed by the Board Presidents Committee (IBCC). The portal aims to provide students with easier access to the verification of certificates and related services through an online system.

Speaking on the occasion, the executive director of IBCC, Ghulam Ali Mallah, said that students can now verify their online academic certificates through the customer service counter, while tracking the process through QR codes.

He added that students from all over the country may file complaints or access services through the 24/7 desktop. “Parents and students from anywhere in the world can send an email to the IBCC customer service, and each email will be answered within 24 hours,” Mallah said.

He pointed out that the portal had been operating in beta mode for six months and has now done completely public.

When addressing the inaugural ceremony, Siddiqui said that the provinces have autonomy about education under amendment 18, but IBCC was established to provide coordination and guarantee a uniform education standard throughout the country.

He said the Ministry would soon meet with provincial representatives to design a cooperation framework. “Today, we have crossed a milestone in the history of Pakistan. With technology, students will no longer have to face difficulties for their certificates to be verified,” said the minister.

Siddiqui also said that the final report on the recent paper filtration of the Cambridge exam would be made public once completed. Later, the Minister planted a offspring as part of an impulse of planting in IBCC.
