LAHORE:

Railways Minister Hanif Abbasi on Tuesday said Pakistan Railways would reduce costs and improve connectivity to ensure greater facilitation for the broader business community.

Speaking at the LCCI, the minister said Pakistan regained its reputation as a responsible and peace-loving country globally. “We are not terrorists but ambassadors of peace.”

He said it was the right time to improve Pakistan’s economy and urged people to have confidence, adding that investment would boost industries and drive national progress.

“We were once on the ventilator, but not anymore,” he said.
