- The new mini mini mini mini station works with AMD Ryzen AI Max+ 395 and Radeon Graphics
- MS-S1 Max includes USB4 V2 dual ports offered 80 Gbps plus 10 GB dual networks
- Tiny Powerhouse admits Expansion of GPU PCIe and high efficiency integrated PSU of 320W
Our favorite PC mini Maker, Minister, has presented its next mini workstation, the MS-S1 Max.
Like a growing number of mini PC, the new launch is based on the Ryzen AI Max+ 395 processor of AMD, part of the Stix Halo family, which offers 16 Zen 5 cores and integrated graphics of Radeon 8060s.
However, the interesting thing is that the processor here will run up to 160 W, which is higher than most Strix Halo PC, which reach their maximum point at 120W. To keep temperatures under control, the system uses a double fan cooling design along with six heat pipes.
USB4 V2 dual ports
There are a couple of other characteristics that distinguish the MS-S1 Max. Includes a complete PCIE X16 slot, which allows users to install a discreet GPU. This means that the system can be configured as a compact workstation or climbing for work charges that require more power.
The MS-S1 Max also has USB4 V2 ports, each capable of 80 Gbps transfer speeds. This puts it along with Thunderbolt 5 in terms of bandwidth while keeping the family factor in USB-C form.
Together with this, Minister includes 10 GB dual Ethernet ports for high -speed networks.
Energy is handled by an internal 320W internal supply that is certified for safety. Since it is integrated, users only need a single cable connection, maintaining the simple configuration.
Chassis design admits access without tools, with a sliding construction that greatly facilitates updates and maintenance, something we always look for in a good mini PC.
Minister says that the MS-S1 Max can work in desktop settings or as part of RACK-mounted groups, allowing several units for shared computer tasks.
The company indicates that the MS-S1 Max is designed for AI work loads. It is described as compatible with large -scale models of up to 109b of parameters.
Not all specifications have been revealed: memory or storage capacity in the promotional material is not mentioned, although we have seen clues about a possible beast of 128 GB AI Max+ 395 previously, which is probably this.
Nor is there a word at this time with respect to prices or global availability.
