Information Minister Attaullah Tarar said Pakistan had received an extraordinary welcome during the Peace Board’s inaugural meeting in Washington earlier in the day.
Speaking to the media, the minister said US President Donald Trump specifically praised Pakistan’s leadership, including Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and COAS and CDF Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir, recognizing Pakistan’s vital role in fostering global peace.
“This high-level distinction has significantly enhanced Pakistan’s international prestige and is a proud moment for Pakistanis,” he added.
