Punjab Prime Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif has said that the provincial government is making arrangements to celebrate the religious and cultural festivals of minorities at the official level.
In his message on the occasion of Holi, he said: “Pakistan is a beautiful mixture of communities of different religions where everyone has the same rights and opportunities.”
The prime minister said: “Punjab is a land of suffering, love and tolerance where each community enjoys complete respect and freedom.”
She added: “We are creating a Punjab where each citizen feels safe, empowered and the same.”
Prime Minister Maryam Nawaz said: “The Punjab government is taking practical measures for the protection and well -being of minorities. Education, health, employment and other basic facilities are provided equally to the members of the minority communities.”
She said that subsidies to celebrate the religious festivals of minorities had increased.
He added: “The protection of the property and life of minorities is ensured by declaring it a red line.”
