MLB News: Ben Joyce Open of Angels about the Christian faith


Throughout sports, athletes have not moved away from publicly showing their faith.

Los Angeles Angels reliever, Ben Joyce, is among the athletes who share his Christian beliefs, and shared with Trey Wallace of Outkick how he loves to see others show his faith in sports.

“Yes, 100%. I think it has been incredible,” said Joyce.

For Joyce and his teammates in Los Angeles, he said that a large number of praise occurs between training, Bullpen sessions and more that keep him on the ground.

“The boys with whom I have shared a club house, everyone feels the same, and we have done things from biblical studies, until we have a chapel every Sunday,” said Joyce.

“I feel that makes life much easier because I don’t think I can go through this life without having that base. You can get caught in all things in professional baseball, and it really brings you back to earth and bases me.”

The 24 -year -old flamethrower is enjoying a good start for the 2025 season, its third with Los Angelinos, since it has 2.2 tickets released in three games where it has not allowed a career won.

As Joyce continues to leave his mark on MLB, he continues to use his platform to share his beliefs and encourage others to do the same.

“It is incredible that people are being more open about it, and at the end of the day, God is great and all I do is glorify it. If I can have some type of platform to spread that, then that is what I want to do.”
