The star receiver of the Seattle sailors, Cal Raleigh, made way in the history books.

Raleight connected his home runs 55 and 56 of the season during the victory of the Mariners 12-5 over the Kansas City Royals on Tuesday at the Kauffman Stadium. Raleight broke the record of the New York Mickey Mantle York Legend for most homers of a switch batter in a single season.

Raleight, 28, also tied the great Ken Griffey Jr. for most homers in a single season in the history of the franchise.

The All-Star receiver hit his home run 55 from the left side of the plate. He demolished the 79 mph curved ball of the Royal Michael Wacha launcher in the seat seats to put the sailors 4-0 at the top of the third inning.

His second homer of the game came in the fourth entrance, this time from the right side of the plate. Raleigh attaches the change of launcher of the reais Daniel Lynch IV on the central field wall to put the sailors up 9-0.

“It’s really great. I feel honored for that. A crazy kind of things that I never thought would happen,” Raleight said, standing inside a tunnel under the Kauffman stadium after his twentieth game of several career cases and his tenth this season. “Simply taking it day by day, Pitch-by-Pitch. Really enjoying every day with these boys, and just trying to end the season with force.”
